Almonds are the richest source of protein and fibre among tree nuts. We source the best, truly raw, certified organic almonds, which we long-soak in a saline solution of filtered water and Mountain Spring Salt. This activation process minimizes or eliminates enzyme inhibitors, phytates (phytic acid), polyphenols (tannins), and goitrogens (all of which were added by Mother Nature to prevent the precious seeds being eaten and digested). Our gentle drying process (at temperatures below 47ºC) ensures the nuts remain in their nutritious, raw state. The resulting Activated Almonds are creamy, flavorsome, light on the digestive system and packed full of absorbable nutrients including vitamin E, magnesium, copper, calcium and manganese.
